Dear band members ,

You guys sounded really good with whitewater in the last run-through !
but it's rather sad as it seems as though we play better when sir is not conducting properly .

Lets us all not forget our standard 5 in our own personal practice and performance .
And remember to be reliable to oneself and one another but not to rely . (:

In today's rehearsal,
You all did REALLY well in the sound production !
The soft playing with clear articulation and good sound sounded SO good, and required loudness almost can be perceived with just a light increase in intensity without harshness or explosiveness .
Remember, playing bombastically isn't always very good .

Let us continue with the progress we're making in the subsequent band practices .
and those who wants their own practice, can come down to the band room on saturday for secionals . (as Mr Oh mentioned)

Thank You .

The band’s concert series “Bravissimo” started since 2006 is a performance
platform managed by students to showcase the entrepreneurship
and develop community spirit of our musicians.
Our current membership stands at sixty and
we aspire to be the cultural ambassador of Woodlands Ring Secondary School,
not just to our local community but also to the rest of the global community.
