Peter Chao here!
Joking.
I'm David.

Just to inform you guys,
The Sec 2s (year 2010) PLEASE report for CCA as soon as possible after class(& lunch, of course) and wait outside the Music Room.
If the Music Room happens to be open**, go in and set up the chairs in concert formation.
Set up your instruments.

Report for drills upon command by Major(s).

**"If the Music Room happens to be open" - Meaning, it is opened by the teachers-in-charge :
Mr Oh, Mdm Dzarina, and Mdm Rabia.
If there are teachers conducting music lessons at that time, PLEASE do NOT disturb them.
=========================================================

For the 28 core leaders, be prepared for a meeting with Sir.

=========================================================

This is for all Band Members,

be reminded to bring your black uniform on Wednesday for CCA Orientation.
There will be no uniform check earlier or whatsoever.

About The Band
The band was formed in 1998 and saw her formative years
under the musical direction of Mr. Richard Png
and achieved a bronze medal in SYF 2003.
Mr. Colin Ng took over the band mantle in 2004
and further developed the band into her present symphonic capacity.
The band was awarded a silver medal in 2005
and a bronze medal in 2007
and in 2009, the band attained another silver award
in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central Judging of Concert Bands.
Woodlands Ring Military Band has since became also very versatile
in serving as Band-in-attendance for many school regimental parades.
We had been honored with an invitation to perform for the
St. John Ambulance Brigade Changing of Colors Parade
which was graced by his Excellency, President S.R. Nathan.
and the band was invited to perform in many
subsequent zone level SJAB parades and private functions.
The band’s concert series “Bravissimo” started since 2006 is a performance
platform managed by students to showcase the entrepreneurship
and develop community spirit of our musicians.
Our current membership stands at sixty and
we aspire to be the cultural ambassador of Woodlands Ring Secondary School,
not just to our local community but also to the rest of the global community.
